I have a unity DL and I wanted to attach a mailbox to it. Would I first add a subscriber to the dl, and then add a mbox to the subscriber? thanks

oh yea I wanted to post that a unity subscriber already has a mailbox. exchange mailstore/inbox is where voice mail is delivered to.

So, you have a public distribution list that you want to add another member to? First, setup the new subscriber. Then in Unity admin, go to the PDL. Click Members in the left hand pane. Click the Add radio button. Under "Type a subscriber name to find", type all or part of the subscriber name. Click Find. Choose the subscriber. Click "Add to list".
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

I have a request to add a voice mail box to a unity DL. I was asking if I had to add a subscriber to the DL, and then add a mailbox to the subscriber.
Or is there another way to add a VM box to a unity DL. thanks

You will need to first create the subscriber and then add this subscriber to the PDL. When you create a subscriber, you are creating a mailbox as well.
