Timeout Delay

Guys,

I need your expertise, the end-user is complaining for a big delay to thier IP phone whenever dialling any outbound calls before it connected. Is there any quick solution to rectify this issue. We tried to put a # sign at the last after dialling the number but the delay is still the same.

Any output is really appreciated.

most probably you have interdigit timeout due to dial plan overlapping, if you do not add the # to the route pattern (unless using @) it won't work. only @ recognizes it automatically, any pattern that does not contain @ needs the # in the pattern

review your dial plan and take out whatever overlapping you have to fix this

use route plan report for this purpose

International:

0.00xxxxxxxxxx

0.00xxxxxxxxxxx

any way you're going to have IDT if not dialing all the digits

leave the 3 route patterns and add #, you'll have to educate users to dial # after the numbers. this happens to all deploys since CUCM has no idea how many digits an international call needs and will wait for the IDT or the #

even using 9.@ or 9.011! has the same issue
