Timing out no answer ringing on incoming sip trunk
I doubt this comes up often and i have not been able to find a discussion of how to time out ringing on an incoming SIP trunk when there is no anwer.
I have a very simple configuration on my router where an incoming sip trunk is set as direct inward dial for single number reach from another system. I don't want to send the trunk to another local number, voicemail or an automated attendent, because that would confuse anyone calling the number on the other system
However, I am worried that some automated dialing program, etc may get ahold of the incoming number and call it, but not hang up. Or a fialure on the single number reach setup on the other system could lead to an incoming call not hung up
What i would like to do is to have a timer on the incoming trunk that would terminate the incoming SIP call after say 60 seconds.
