Tools for monitoring Cisco Unified Communications

We have the following equipment from Cisco:

1. CUCM 8.6
2. Unity
3. CUPS
4. UCCX
5. ATA187
6. SIP gateways
7. 8945 & 8961 handsets
8. 29xx series routers
9. W3750 series switches

Does anyone recommend a product that can monitor all this equipment and provide us with visual indication of the status of each component as well and sending out alerts?

Most NMS systems can monitor most of these through SNMP.

For CUCM, Unity and CUPS, you can configure email alerts for specified alarms in RTMT and use SNMP traps for the rest.

You can look at the Cisco Prime collaboration solution if you plan to upgrade to 9.x or 10.x anytime soon.
