I am using the Cisco IP Phone 7960G for CallManager 4.1(3). As a receptionist, I would like to be able to directly transfer people to voicemail (without waiting for the ext. to ring through) when the callee is unavailable. I do not want to idirect them to the general voicemail, and I direct calls for more than one callee/voicemail box, so don't think the manager/assistant proxy line can work for my needs. Any suggestions? Thank you!

We are having the same issue allow we are trying to use the Attendant Console to do it and we get an error message that says fail to transfer to voicemail.
