Transfer OUT of Voicemail box instead of leaving a message. 8.5

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to figure out how to transfer a call out of a voicemail box, back to a hunt list.

Basically, what we need to do is this:

Call extension and user does not answer. Voicemail greeting prompts me to either leave a message after the tone, or press 9 (or any button) to be transferred to the next available associate.

Is this possible? We are using CUCM 8.5.1 and Unity 8.6.2.

You would need to configure

You would need to configure the 'caller input' for the mailbox. 

In the mailbox:

  1. Edit > Caller Input
  2. Select key '9'
  3. Select 'Call Action > Transfer to Alternate Contact Number'
  4. Enter the extension
  5. Save

Just clarifying that this is done through Unity.
