Transfer problem

Sandy Lee

Hi,

We have 2 users with 7940G phones. Phone A has Line 1 CFA to Phone B Line 1. If the call is good to go, then Phone B transfers to Phone A Line 2 (which is not a shared line). The call gets transfered, but after 2 seconds, the call gets dropped. It is intermittent.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I recommend you to take a CCM/SDL detailed trace on the server were the phones are registered to see what is going on with the call:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/788/AVVID/cm_trace.html

Without the trace you will only be guessing.

Hi,

Here's the CCM trace. We don't have the SDL trace yet. The call was made at 9:35

Caller 8694

Called 2063 CFA 2566

User 2566 Transfered to 14477

I only have the results from searching 14477, which is the line having the issue. If you need more, let me know.

Thanks!

here's the file.

Sandy,

Please attach the actual trace, the one that is located in the ProgramFiles\Cisco\Trace\CCM

Ok, here they are.

Thanks again.

Sandy,

I meant the txt file that is on that folder, do not copy the content on a word doc

* Call State 2 is On Hook *

User 2566 never pressed the Transfer softey for the second time, he just hang up the call. So you need to explain them that they need to press the transfer softkey twice, the fist one will allow you to dial the number and the second one will join the two call legs.

Hi Jorge,

Thank you very much for your help. As for our user who doesn't press the transfer softkey twice, she doesn't have to, because we have the tranfer on-hook enabled and it works.

Thanks again.
