Translation profile issue

I have a two 3925 gateways, connected to a 8.6.2a Communications Manager . the gateways are in different locations. I am trying to get an AA working on Unity Connection .

I setup a CTI route Point that shows not registered, I have the Callhandler setup and it doesn't work.

I set the translation profile to a registered phone and still doesnt work.

I set one gateway to do almost same thing except it points to the Pilot of voicemail.

I have changed the rule 1 to a registered extension and still same

It sounds strange but the one gateway will not work and my other gateway I am waiting dor the PRI's to be reinstalled.

What is 83052006 defined as on CUCM as?

Does the GW in CUCM have proper CSS to reach this and how many sig digits are defined on the GW?

Did you try running this against CUCM GW DNA?

Thanks Chris seems you been answering all my posts. I thank you,,

83052006 is a 7945G. All digits are defined..  I always like the telco's sending all digits so I have control I was thinking to change to 8 digits.

The other thing is define the full 10 digits on a phone just to see if all works.

I did change translation pattern to dial my cell and that worked  I wanted to make sure translation worked  ZI did run the test on the gateway to make sure the translation worked so sending to cell was overkill.

The css was first thing I went after. DNA seems okay..

I am going to look at everything again one last time. Everything looks like CSS

. I hate doing this but I may reboot everything. I was never a fan of booting but hey booting goes back to cucm 3.x days when configuration looks good rebooting is an option.

I will start with gateway and see.

What type of PSTN connection is it?

Since the translation directly out to PSTN worked, this indicated to me misconfuguration on CUCM side. Can you try assigning this DN to a phone in none partition for testing?

Are any other inbound calls to this gateway working?

There is two PRI's. All inbound calls work and outbound,. In fact I am using this gateway which resides in Kitchener Ontario as the way out All my PRI's are down so they go across wan to hit this gateway.

The translation patterns (Rule 2) in the gateway works. Calls come in , translated and sent to a CUSP in US and alll works. The translation in the Kitchener gateway, i used same translation to route calls to CUC Pilot to test. It all works.

I will assign this number directly on a phone and see what happens that was my next move.

I have done this before no issues,., Set up a CTI RP forward all to a Callhandler and works fine.

I have no idea why this is broke. 

I will do what you said and go back thru CSS to see if I goofed  I am sorry forgot to mention I get an intercept from UNITY that say something like I am sorry number you dialed doesnt work I will get you verbeg,,

So, this only does not work when the call is hairpinned to UCXN and then sent back to an extension?

I am slighty confused on your call flow as you keep on adding things you did not include in original post, i.e. CUSP.

If the issue is that call goes to Unity AA and then you enter extension and the phone does not ring, few questions:

Does the Unity SIP trunk or VM port have proper CSS defined to ring the DN?

Is the extension defined as a user in Unity?

Chris let me try  and straighten out for you.

I have a cluster in Kitchener Ontario with two 50 meg circuits to Virgina where the UCCE is.

I also have a site in Bathurst new Briunswick. There is a 50 meg mpls between Bathurst and Kitchener.

All the calls come to a gateway in Kitchener and if for UCCE it gets sent to a CUSP in US otherwise sent to CUCM here.

If PSTN failure the calls route to bathurst.

We have Bathurst as part of local route group because we have no PRI in Kitchener right now

I have a callHandler built with extenesion I need. That extension is a CTI route point forward to UNity.

I went over all CSS yesterday and all looks okay.  Unity is a sip intergration.

Problem or challenge was site in US is up and runing so we are just a site off of it.Al the UCCE seems to be okay includint Verint recordung and screen capture.

I was focusing on the call flow from Bathurst back to kitchener. I do have Unity in both locations running active/active

We also had to put the two PG's in Kitchener due to the fact we had no private link available the two pg's/

I haven't put the inbound number directy onto a phone as see what happens..

I get an intercept and that makes no sense to me. i will get verbage i forget something about number doesn't exist.

Chris issue was the callmanager group didnt have the callmanager that the dial peer was sending the call to . I forgot all about that I ran into a few years ago  when cucm 7 first came out  e found that if a sip doesnt have the callmanager that the dial-peers send th ecall to it fails,

Now issue is the caled number shows up as the pilot for Unity so I am having issues,  the call never hits the callhandler.
