Translation Rule Problem

Hi

I have a problem with the limit on translation rules. Basically I have 1 PRI and 11 seperate numbers which are being directed to that PRI. Problem is that all these numbers are different so I have 11 rules. So along with the PRI translation I have a total of 12 rules.

I have tried the following config

The problem is that the numbers in translation-profile DID2 are not working. Im getting a "number unavailable" message. If I take rule 10 out of DID and replace it with rule 1 of DID2 then that number works fine.

Can someone tell me what Im doing wrong?

Router is a 2821 on 124-12b

Hi,

the thing is that you cannot have multiple DP matching the same pattern for "incoming calling-number". Only the first one will get the calls. If you want to use multiple DP and multiple translation-rules, reorganize things to that one DP handles, for example, numbers starting with 3, and the other, number starting with 6. On the other hand, you probably do not need to, because you need less than 15 rules for now.

You also do not need to specify the port because it is not used for incoming DP (this is a relatively recent change in IOS).

Thanks for the reply. I did some changing of dial peers and created a voip dial peer. All seems working fine now.
