in jabber if a user searches for a contacts and tries to call that person it fails, obviously since the number does not have the 9 and if it is long distance does not have the 9 & 1 in front of the number. is there anything in call manager we can do to add that without having to edit every single contact? Some contacts will be local and only need 7 digits and the 9 added and of course the long distance would need the 9 plus the 1 to be added.
we are running 10.5 and this is a new install.

Add Application Dial Rules to prefix the digits.

Did you shut down and restart the Jabber client so that it can download the application dial rules?
