trunkgroup with fxo

I have the configuration listed, I would like to know why the 100% of the times the port 0/0/0 is selected? what is the functionality of the

hunt-scheme? , I tested round-robin, seq, etc.... with the same result, always take the port 0/0/0.

Re: trunkgroup with fxo

Hello,

Your configuration should be if you set hunting to sequential.

trunk group TEST

hunt-scheme sequential

voice-port 0/0/0

trunk-group TEST 4

voice-port 0/0/1

trunk-group TEST 3

voice-port 0/0/2

trunk-group TEST 2

voice-port 0/0/3

trunk-group TEST 1

In above config scenario voice-port 0/0/3 will be chosen first but only if its free otherwise hunting will move to port 0/0/2 and so on till it find a free voice port.

I have voice port 0/0/0 tagged as 4 assuming you are getting inbound calls on first channel.

HTH
