Turning Subscriber into a Publisher?

Is their a quick way to redifine paramaters so subscribers becomes the publisher? Long story short, customer has 4 CCM servers in cluster but Publisher hardware has died and end of life. They want to just keep remaining three servers for cluster and make one existing subscriber the publisher without havin to re-install CCM. Can this be done? If so, is their documentation for this (can't locate)/

There is no way to change a Subscriber to work as a Publisher. You will have to reinstall the Publisher and use a Backup to restore the data.
