Hey guys -
we are looking for some suggestions on how to record outboud telephone calls placed by our users. These users are not part of any ICD/ACD system, just standard user. I dont know if there is some software switch inside UCM to allow this, or how to retrieve the recording.
I would like to find a way to do this without having to buy a 3rd party server, but I do not know what options are out there.

Unfortunately CUCM itself does not provide the call recording capabilities, it does have some enhancements on this, but are focused on call centers.

For the actual recording process you need a 3rd party app. You could do this with UCCX/UCCE but you mention you don't have this.

We actually do have UCCX, but these callers are not in any queue.

Hi - If you have Unity Connection you could use live record - but it does have some limitations:
