Unable to listen to user recordings.

Hi ,

I facing an issue in my Cisco IPCC server (Ver 5.x).

I am unable to listen to an perticular user recordings .

In list it shows to call duration correctly , but when i play i am not able to listen anything , and its happening only for one user.

Can anyone help on this quickly.

Unable to listen to user recordings.

This is likely a misconfiguration of that person's phone or their workstation NIC settings.

  • Ensure that the CAD workstation is plugged into the PC port of the phone, or the agent is using CIPC.
  • Ensure that the SPAN to PC Port and PC Voice VLAN settings are set to True on the Device Configuration page of the agent's phone.
  • Ensure that the NIC card of that workstation is configured to accept IEEE 802.1q-tagged Ethernet frames. Many desktop NICs do not do this by default and require registry or other utiltity settings to be changed.
