unable to make inbound calls from the PSTN via FXO
I have a Cisco 1861 router with the following code:
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express
I can make out bound calls to the PSTN OK from the 7970 handset and the analogue phone attached via teh FXS port but I can not make inbound calls from the PSTN.
The symptom is that when an inbound call is initiated from the PSTN the FXS attached phone rings once and once only then the caller gets a dial tone. If I answer the call on the first ring the call completes successfully. Also when I hang up the call does not terminate correctly with each call leg IE: caller and called phones both need to go on-hook before it appears to close the connection completely.
Any help would be appreciated to resolve both these issues.
