we have unity unified messaging on external Exchange 2010. we are facing with MWI, if a caller who is not a subscriber of the system leaves a message, MWI works. But if a message is left by the caller who is a subscriber of the unity system, MWI doesnt work.
we have identified that this is because of 'Policy Patrol' on exchange 2010 which is a third party software to add disclaimers to emails. The subscribers being local, unity uses their mailbox for sending out wav file emails, this message gets opened by policy patrol before being delivered at called party mailbox. this action leaves the MWI off.
We are trying to create exclusions from policy patrol end based on header but their support just doesnt work.
i'd like to know if i can sort this by cheating the system to send out the mails from the unity server mailbox account instead of the subscriber mailbox account so this issue doesnt happen. any help is greatly appreciated.
