Unified SRST Issue

Maher Shaban

Hi all,

I've configured a unified SRST with MGCP fallback and I think everything is configured properly, but phones never try to register With the SRST,

so, when I issue the command debug ephone detail. nothing appears.

I'm using CUCM 8.6.2  >> 10.10.50.8

gateway MGCP 2951   >> 192.168.93.2

and by the way that SRST is in the Local location not the remote one.

your help is much really appreciated

Hi

Please send the config done in your CUCM. Have you given config about your SRST ip address in CUCM SRST config.

Make sure the CME/SRST License is active. You can verify that by using the command show license detail cme-srst.

Hope this would help!

Hi Ronak,

I'm not using CME SRST, I'm using unified SRST with MGCP Fallback.

the Telephony service isn't activated at all in unified SRST.

and here you are below my show call-manager-fallback result.

No worries Ronak,
Have you found anything yet?
By the way, that SRST is configured as an mgcp gateway, and all the FXO ports are registered.

is it ok this way that I'm having SRST License now, or not, because I see it's just an evaluation, and I see also two indexes for uck9 feature one of them is permanent and the other is for evaluation.

what does that means? and is that might be causing my case?

hi

I feel the licensing is correct. Have you restarted the router after you have accepted EULA.

Send us the output of  debug ephone detail when the phones try to register to the SRST router.

Hi Ronak,

I just resolved the Issue, by removing the ip source-address command and put it again.

Thanks for your help.
