Unity access # for transfering calls

Is there a way to setup more than one access # for Unity? We have a main # (1234) to access the opening greeting, but I want a # (1235) we can call that will ask for an extension. For example - a caller would ask me to be put into someones voice mail, when I dial my access # (1234) it asks me for my password. I want a second # (1235) to dial that will ask for a voice mail box # so I can transfer the caller directly to a Voice mail box.

Re: Unity access # for transfering calls

Hi Bob,

Here a couple of good Tech Notes that describe different methods to do just this :)

Doc/Method # 1

How to Transfer a Caller Directly into a Cisco Unity Mailbox

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_tech_note09186a008015b963.shtml

Doc/Method # 2

Transferring Calls Directly to Voice Mail with Cisco CallManager

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00800dea82.shtml

Hope this helps!

Rob
