Hi,
I just upgraded a CUCMBE from version 7.1(2) to 7.1(3a). After the upgrade Unity Connection will not answers. Voicemail Pilot and all AA's will just ring and ring. I was trying to diagnose the issue and the Dialed Number Analyzer seems to show no issue - but does not really indicate where the call goes...
How can I determine if the call is getting to Unity Connection, and then how can I determine why Unity Connection is not picking the calls up.
VoiceMail Pilot - 699
Voicemail Ports - 600 - 615 (all registered)
Voicemail Hunt - 699
Line Group DN's - 600 - 615
The Analyzer shows the call going to the Hunt Group. So I thne tried analyzing the first number in the Voice Mail Ports....Here is the output.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi Heath,
Can you try resetting the Ports via UC admin> Telephony Integration> Port Group
Cheers!

Rob is right, Please reset your ports.
I found this from your logs
16:25:08 StatusDetails='' NeedRestartId='' VmsServerObjectId='' dtLastUpdated=2010-08-16 16:25:08]|
If this does not work I would suggest removing the ports and going through the
Unity Port Wizard again. Once you create them in CUCM, then create them in Unity.
Hope this helps, Please rate if so

Hi There,
Have you happened to check your services after the upgrade?
Also have you checked the upgrade logs for any errors?
Regards,
Justin
08-16-2010 09:28 AM
Yes - all services are running - Except Database proxy....
Nothing in the logs (that I can find) was suspect.
I just finished recreating the VM ports - all are registered, but still no answer.

Hi Heath,
Can you please try dialing 699 and using DNA
In a properly configured integration you shouldn't be able
to dial to VM Ports (like 600) directly.
Cheers!
Rob

Hi Rob,
Dialing 699 - I get ring no answer (forever).... What did you mean DNA?
I just checked another CUCMBE system and I can dial all of the VM Ports directly.... That may mean it is not configured properly, but the system does work.
08-16-2010 09:38 AM
Sorry - DNA Dailed Number Anaylizer .... OOOPS.
Here is the output:
08-16-2010 09:41 AM
Are the voicemail ports registered?
08-16-2010 09:42 AM
Yes all ports are registered.

OK - I got some logs out of Unity Connection - but what are they telling me?
