All - I am currently having an issue with one of my remote sites. When users record their voicemail greeting or recorded name within CUC 8.5, the recordings are garbled or choppy, and need to be recorded several times. Also, users are reporting than their voicemail messages are garbled and choppy. They have sent me several example messages, and the messages sound like chipmunks are leaving the message. Speed settings are properly adjusted.
Has anyone experience something similar?
All voice infrastructure is centralized at the datacenter. It is currently supporting 65 remotes sites.
If users are leaving messages, is the Unity Connection located at a "hub site". Is QoS enabled correctly between sites? Are you doing QoS based on IP addresses so that only traffic between phone subnet is being priortized?
George - yes, Unity Connection is at the hub site. I checked the QOS policy on both sides and everything looks configured properly. We have the same template at all remote sites. QOS is being prioritized based on IP.
