Unity Express - internal call not working

Hi all,

We have a CUCM cluster and a new remote site running CUE for voicemail. Users in the remote site can access the voicemail and receive voicemail from PSTN calls and intra-site calls. We have problem with inter-site calls: calls from other sites to this remote site cannot reach voicemail but busy tone.

Our setup is:

- Site -  to - site codec: G729 (we already try G711, so codec should not be the cause of this issue)

- The pilot number is configured under a site-specific partition (let say, SiteA_VM_PT)

- All the extensions are in same partition (Phone_PT)

- CSS of the phone in HQ contains Phone_PT but doesnot contain SiteA_VM_PT.

Anyone has a suggestion for our case?

Hey hoanghiep

It should be codec. Have done any debugs to see what codec its trying to negotiate. CUE speaks only with G711ulaw.

If you tried this, try setting up a transcoder.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

But as I mentioned, we tried G.711 already and it did not solve the issue.

We also try to configure 2 extension on the same phone, ext1 with CSS containing SiteA_VM_PT, ext 2 with CSS not containing SiteA_VM_PT --> ext1 can reach VoiceMail (and AA) after calling to ext 3 and no answer, ext2 cannot.

Any other suggestions?

Hey,

Can you please explain the call flow a little better.

Are you trying to ring the voicemail number directly or are you ringing an extension at the other site (cfna configured)?

Have you checked the CTI ports
