Unity Upgrade 4.0(4)sr1 to 4.1(1)

Does anyone know if this is a simple straight forward upgrade, by using the 4 files downloadable on CCO? It's to fix a known bug in 4.0 where the hard disk fills up but I can't find anything online except bigger jumps such as 3 -> 4.0(5) etc. The current versions are below!

O/S = Windows 2000 (5.0 build 2195 sp4)

SQL = SQL 2000 (8.00.760 sp3)

Exchange = Exchange 2000 build 4417 sp3 build 6.0.6249.0

Unity = Unity Voicemail 4.0(4.0) sr1

Server = MCS7815-I1-CC1/ECS1/IPC1

Cheers all

AA

Re: Unity Upgrade 4.0(4)sr1 to 4.1(1)

Upgrade to 4.1 and 4.2 should cost the same and if the customer has an SAS/SASU Contract it should be free since both these are minor/same 4.x upgrades.

Any specific reason that you would like ot go to 4.1(1) ?? I'd recommend going to 4.2(1) as it has a few cool features and if wait for a couple of weeks, Unity 5.0 should also be available.

Unity 4.1(1) only supports US-Eng and is not the latest version available.

Re: Unity Upgrade 4.0(4)sr1 to 4.1(1)

Thanks for your reply, it's for a customer who has been told by an engineer (possibly one of ours) that the bug is fixed in 4.1(1) so if it's free I'm sure they'll be fine with 4.2, Do you know if there is potentially a cost difference in going to 4.2 rather than 4.1? The customer does have a SAC?!? (Which I presume is like an SASU) agreement which includes all minor upgrades.
