Upgrade on CUE NM-CUE

Hello all,

We have a Unity Express integrated with CUCM, and soon will upgraded to version 9. Hence we are going to upgrade our CUE from 7.0 to 8.6.

we are going to upgrade our CUE license also.

My question is, can i do 'software install upgrade' option, so all my configurations remain same? Rather if i chose clean install all my configuration will lost?

To be safe, backup configuration and database in call cases.

Then use upgrade if possible.
