Upgrade Question on CCM 7825-H3 Raid 1 disks

Hi,

There are two disks installed on the server and they are working RAID 1. So is it possible remove one disk before upgrading to new version of CCM, so if something goes wrong we can plug the disk and return to old version.

CCM 6.1 - 7825-H3 bridge upgrading to 8.6

Thanks.

You need to DRS to backup your server, FYI that is not an officially supported method for backing up a server.

Upgrade Question on CCM 7825-H3 Raid 1 disks

Yes I already taken my DRS backup but if I want to return to old version, I need to make a fresh installation of the old system (6.1) and restore to it. If I take one disk all I have to do is insert the disk...

Technically what you're trying to do, should work just fine. But like Jaime stated, it's not a supported method.
