I'm trying to do what seems to be a fairly simple task: Upgrade the firmware on an ATA 186. I've searched high and low on cisco's website and tried everything I can find. I wanted to make it simple so I hooked up a phone to the ATA device and dialed FACTRESET to do a facotry reset, but it doesn't seem to be working. Then I gave it a static IP, mask, and gateway and I still can't ping it or get to it via web. Then I connected it via crossover directly to my PC and configured my PC to be on the same network. Still no ping or web page. Any ideas?
