Upgrading & Migrating Call Manager 5.3 users to UCM 8.5

Hi

Which is the best option to upgrade & Migrate the Users on Call Manager 5.3 to Cisco UCM 8.5 . We will buy the new hardware to support new UCM, but I need to know about the licenses, is there any way to migrate the existing Users DLU to the new UCL to support 8.6 ?
