Re: Upgrading Unity server from ver. 5.0 to Unity Connection ver

Hi Peter,

First of all check if the current hardware you have supports CUC, probably you are ordering new servers, but you might want to check this link:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/8x/supported_platforms/8xcucspl.html

Then, you'll need to use the COBRAS tool to migrate all the information from Unity to Unity Connection. You can download the tool from:

http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/General/COBRAS/COBRAS.html

Here you'll find an overview of the tool and what data is migrated:

http://www.ciscounitytools.com/Applications/General/COBRAS/Help/COBRAS.htm

If you are a registered partner, for presales (part numbers, BoM, licensing and ordering questions) you can open a case online at:

www.cisco.com/go/partnerhelp

Regards,

Tere.
