urgetnt (unity connection with smtp relay )

a business center needs a voice messaging system (unity connection or unity) and they dont have an exchange ,instead they want to use an smtp relay so voice mesages are send to different emails accordingly .

1-can this be done ?

2-if yes , whic one can do it , unity ot unity connection?

3-do i need to buy additional licenses for that integrations or only VM licenses ?

please anyone who can help ,immediate response is apreciated cause its urgent

Cisco Unity Connection does not require Exchange. A couple of options with Unity Connection:

1. Setup SMTP message notification so that the user gets an email message when they have new voicemail.

2. Setup IMAP access so that users can listen to voicemail using their existing email client.

Neither of these options actually forward the voicemail to a different email account, but they might meet your requirements.
