US Export Restricted versus Unrestricted software

Good Day All,

I am planning to upgrade some systems here from version 8.0x to 8.6x,

The release notes make a point of letting you know that if you are currently running an un-restricted export version and you upgrade to a restricted export version, you can not go back.

Just wondering.

How would i know what version I am running to begin with please?

any help is most appreciated.

Hi,

You can confirm it by running the command show version active, If its restricted it will not show restricted but if its unrestricted it will show as unrestricted version.
