Hi,
My client like to set up password protection for Long Distance/International Calls on Call Manager. Only users who know password can make these kinds calls. Does anybody know if this can be done on call manager 4.1 and how? I appreciate it very much for any suggestion.
Thanks!

Hi Steve,
This is most possible on CCM 4.1 :) you can use Forced Authorization Codes (FAC);
The Forced Authorization Codes (FAC) feature, which allows you to regulate the types of calls that certain users can place, forces the user to enter a valid authorization code on the phone before the call completes.
From this doc;
Configuring Forced Authorization Codes
Hope this helps!

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the info. I read the docu. And it seems to me that this can only apply to route pattern. Is there anyway to implement this to indiviual user? Another word, different user get different FAC code with different level access?
Thanks again!

the only options are FAC and CMC so you'll have to see which one works best for you as that is the only we provide.
if you need different access levels then use CMC and if you only need some users to have CMC enabled patterns play with CSS and partitions
