Use RFC 2833 for SIP Phones

Is there anyway to force SIP phones to use RFC 2833 as the default DTMF method rather than KMPL>

Thanks.

Re: Use RFC 2833 for SIP Phones

Hello,

There isn't a way to change the default behavior per-say, however you can make a SIP phone that supports KPML collect all of the digits and send them out all at once to CallManager.  To do this you simply create and apply a SIP Dial Rule to the phone.

I hope this helps.
