Use special character to replace prefix

Hello - we have set up a range of park numbers from 2000-2009 (200X). Is it possible to set a special character such as the * or the # key to replace the first 3 digits (200) so the user could dial *3 to get a call from 2003? Where would I go do this if it is possible. CCM 5.1.

Thanks

Re: Use special character to replace prefix

Have you tried using a Translation Pattern. You can create a tranlation pattern for "*.X" and use the Discard option of PreDot and Prefix Digits (Outgoing Calls) as "200" or any other number you want to use.
