Using COBRAS to Upgrade Unity from v4.2 to v7.0

In the past, I have used DiRT to reimage a Unity Server from Windows 2000 to 2003 and I understand the procedure/requirement of backing up and restoring from the same version of Unity/DiRT.

My question is that now COBRAS is available to do upgrades (for example, unity connection v1 to unity connection v7) can we use this tool to reimage a Unity server for the OS along with an upgrade to a newer version. So for example:

1. Export with COBRAS of the Unity v4.2 server with WIN 2000

2. Reimage the server with Windows 2003 and install a fresh version 7 of Unity

3. Import the COBRAs data

Is this possible or is DiRT our only option?

Yes, that is exactly how it works. COBRAS does not care what OS is on the source or destination unity. And as far as I know the only migration it won't do is from Connections to Unity.
