Verizon Business SIP Trunk config ?

In general with a Verizon Buisness SIP Trunk is a MTP resource required for every call? So planning for 80 calls means you should have 80 hardware IOS MTP resources avail? We noticed without MTP resources we can't transfer calls. Using CallManager 7.0(2), CUBE 12.4(20T), UCCX 7.0(1)SR1.

As you see in your document since version 5.0 no need MTP for SIP trunk.

Easy way to do it:

CUCM -- SIP trunk/or H323 -- CUBE -- SIP -- SIP provider

Sample config from CUBE:

voice service voip

allow-connections h323 to h323

allow-connections h323 to sip

allow-connections sip to h323

allow-connections sip to sip

sip

!

sip-ua

credentials username xxx password yyy realm sip.provider

authentication username xxx password yyy

registrar dns:sip.provider expires 3600

sip-server dns:sip.provider

Remember you have to add dial-peer on CUBE and SIP trunk from CUCM to CUBE.
