Anyone have experience sharing VG224 ports for many phones ? My customer (hospital) have many phones sharing a same analog ports on PBX. Moving to Cisco Toip, does VG224 permit the same ? Any experience out there ?
We have over 40 VG224s on our cluster, and have had no REN related problems so far to our knowledge. According to the spec, the VG224 & 202/204 can take a max loading of 5 REN per port, and 12 REN per system, so connecting several handsets to a port should not cause issues, unless multiple ports ring at the same time.
