Hi Guys,
I'm running CCM 7 with VG224's setup as mgcp.
All my analogue DECT phones are hanging of the VG224's
The issue that we are experiencing now is that we can't forward or transfer calls from any of these handsets
I know this is a limitation of a VG224.
I read that one can use short codes from the analogue phone to foreward or transfer calls.
But the VG needs to be setup as SCCP not MGCP.
Has anyone done this before?
Is this possible?
Thank you for the help

Hi
Yes, it's quite a common config.
There is an example of the config you need on the VG224 in the manual:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/vg224/software/configuration/guide/scgappa.html

Hi
This has an example of the code for call-forward being configured:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/voice/fxs/configuration/guide/fxsbasic.html
This page details the default method of transfer (hookflash) and how to set up a code (the example given is '#2 for "transfer"') right near the bottom:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/voice/fxs/configuration/guide/fxssccpsplmft.html#wp1109065

Aaron
