We have a VG248 in place and connected using rj21 amphenol connections to an RJ21 amphenol cable that is punched down on a terminal block. From the terminal block we cross connect two wires per pinout (striped and solid) to other terminal blocks that tie out to each of our floors. We are moving to another office in a few months and I want to know if I have any options with regard to connecting the ports out? I am not sure we will have the terminal blocks that tie out to the new floors and I am wondering if I can maybe use an amphenol that can be patched out instead of cross connecting wires.
Any thoughts, experience, suggestions, would be great?
You have many options for cables and patch panels. Probably one for every situation that we can think of :) Here are the parts you would need to connect to a 24 port, rack mounted Patch Panel (without needing to terminate the cable with Bix or 110 connecting tools on terminating blocks).
