vic2-4fxo on 2911 unable to make a call

Dear ALL,

i'm trying to configure voip connection between my HO to remote office. i use vic2-4fxo on 2911 with pvdm3-16 and uck9 license enabled. yes i use pbx with analog phone in my HO side. on remote office i use exactly same router model with vic3-fxs/did, the voice port connected directly to analog phone. we can make a call from remote office HO. but unable to make a call from HO to remote office. it seem like disconnected before the call routing to remote office. below my vpm debug result :

Hi Fajar,

FXO lines do not carry a called number and hence the call cannot be routed.

You would need to use "conncetion plar" under the "voice-port"

Connection plar is explained in the following link:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3/vvf_r/vrg_c4_ps1839_TSD_Products_Command_Reference_Chapter.html#wp998575

Can you post the config for both sides?

Hi Mr. O'Nan,

thanks for your reply. here is both sides config attached. actually we have more than one remote side. connected each other through isp mpls with vpnip service. we have use 2800 series for ho side before. everything works fine with same config. replaced it with 2911 because hardware failure, then outgoing call from HO to remote sides didn't work.

can you make phone calls in remote site from 8130 to 8131 and back ?

From the configs, the gateways are H323 Gateways with FXO lines and the issue is not localised to FXO itself.

We would need to take a look at the following debugs :

debug h225 asn1

debug h245 asn1

debug voice ccapi inout

debug voip vtsp all

debug vpm signal

HTH,

Harsh

You would need to use "conncetion plar" under the "voice-port"

Connection plar is explained in the following link:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3/vvf_r/vrg_c4_ps1839_TSD_Products_Command_Reference_Chapter.html#wp998575

HTH,

Harsh

using connection plar and it works Sir...

my last config use one vic2-2fxo and one vic2-4fxo. i can make a call to remote sides, except 8111 and 8120. i don't have idea why when i dial 8111 there isn't any debug info appear. when i dial 8120 the dial tone was busy or disconnected. tested to connect each of both lines directly to analog phone, the lines work fine. i attach my last config and 8120 debug result below.

thanks for your assistance.

Best Regards,

Fajar

yes, phone calls are able from 8130 and 8131 each other.
