Virtual IP PBX

Hi

Greetings!!!

I have a query regarding Virtual IP PBX,my Question is

1.Can v use a Carrier grade network platform(SIP based communication) that serves a Virtual hosted IP PBX over the Internet/MPLS cloud using SIP which communicates with the Cisco IP phones & PSTN gateways, thereby eliminating the need for a PBX or IP PBX on customer premises?

2.If yes, then what is exact procedure?

Looking forward 4 ur prompt response ASAP.

Brgds,

Arif.

Re: Virtual IP PBX

You can do that but is poor solution, because you will never have the full features and control that you have with a local device, that is also cheap and effective like a CME router.

Moreover, if the Internet circuit fails, none of the telephones will work. That is bad.
