voice dsp's and codecs

Hi all, trying to understand a bit more about dsp resources.

I have a 2821 which if you issue the command "sh diag",tells me I have in slot 0 a PVDM2-32 in slot 0 and similarly in slot1.

Questions:

why dsp 1,2,5,6 what happened to 3,4

I take it the pvdm's in slot 0 and 1 referenced in the sh diags, are just grouped together in the show voice dsp group command?

I thought g729br8 was a high complex codec, but if so why does it get allocated 30 credits, if 240 credits is the max per dsp then thats 8 g729br8's, i thought the max was 6 per 2-16 dsp?

What happens if you use all the credits on your dsp's, but still have spare channels, would a call in be refused?

thanks
