Voice Gateway PRI question

Hello,

I am going to migrate a remote office's old PBX system to our centralized CCM with Callmanager V5.12.  My questions is the office has a PRI with 16 channels.  Do I set up the voice PRI on the gateway the same way as if it has 24 channels?

pri-group timeslots 1-24 service mgcp

if not, should I change the pri-group command to 17 channels(including the D Channels)?

pri-group timeslots 1-17 service mgcp

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, but drop the service MGCP.

We do NOT support fractional PRIs with MGCP, if you want to use it you'll need H323
