Voice gatway SRST question

On the voice gateway we the IP address of the call manager on session target ipv4 0.0.0.0 on the voice gateway. Should it be the IP address of the voice gateway? Would this effect the inbound and outboud calls? The voice gateway setup is H.323.

Voice gatway SRST question

To route inbound calls to CallManager, the VG should have VoIP dialpeers and the session target commands must have the CallManager(s) IP(s). For example, if CM Pub is 10.10.10.2 and CM Sub is 10.10.10.3, you should have:

dial-peer voice 100 voip

destination-pattern

session target ipv4:10.10.10.3

voice-class codec 1

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

dial-peer voice 100 voip

destination-pattern

session target ipv4:10.10.10.2

preference 1

voice-class codec 1

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

Now, in CallManager Administration, you should go to Device -> Gateway and configure a H.323 Gateway with the VG's IP address and configure the appropiate CSS to reach the IP phone's extensions.

Hope it helps, please rate if it does.

Regards,

-- Adrian.
