Voice mail not working properly with cucm 7.x and unity 8.x

Hi

I am facing an strange problem with cisco unity and cucm

Cisco unity - 8.x

CUCM  - 7.x

My problem is that when i press the message button from my communicator i am able to go  to unity but in unnity it play that" Welcome to cisco unity press # for ne nme etc " then after that in the port status for unity i see that it is not able to detect dtmf digit and shows that the call goes "hangupEvent" in the loggs and port become idle .

I am not able to trace where the issue .

Your help is appreciated.

By communicator I presume you mean IP Communicator. Is it using SIP or SCCP?

If SCCP, do you see the KeypadButton message being received from your endpoint in the CallManager (SDI) trace?

What codec is the call using? If G.729, have you disabled Annex B support in the UCM Service Parameters?

Is your Unity integration done using SIP or SCCP?

Yes i m using Ip communicator with sccp and g711 codec

Now some time it accept the password and sometime unity doesnot find any dtmf as seen from the port monitor status in unity.

and also once logged in the prompt is not played completely and mid theport in port ststus monitor showss idle.

Hi

I checked in cucm trace i am able to see the pressed digit in cucm and also find the attacjed port monitor stse from unity.

And Annex is false in service parameter of cucm
