Hi
I have CUCME 7.0 on 2811 router with 8 isdn lines.
From past one weeks time users are facing a voice quality problem and when i enabled the debug ISDN q931 on the router i have noticed error keep repeating " unassigned number /un allocated number "
And also when i enable i have noticed this error " Mar 12 06:14:41.867: ISDN BR0/2/1 Q921: User RX <- SABMEp sapi=0 tei=0
Mar 12 06:14:41.867: ISDN BR0/2/1 Q921: User TX -> UAf sapi=0 tei=0

And also

I have noticed there are CRC errors on the all the BRI interfaces.
When i check with the Telecom provider he said there is no problem from his side.
Please suggest me how can i fix this error and improve the voice quality.
I have attached the sh run from my cme.
Thanks

Which exact IOS is that ?
You should be able to eliminate almost all CRC errors with "network-clock-select 1 bri 0/2/0" and lower priorities for each BRI in use.
Unrelated to thta, you can simplify the translation-rules by much. When strippinr prexifing, the recall \1 is never necessary.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
When i enable the network-clock-select 1 bri 0/2/0 and 2 bri 0/3/0 etc.
FROM SH RUN
network-clock-participate wic 0
network-clock-participate wic 1
network-clock-participate wic 2
network-clock-participate wic 3
network-clock-select 1 BRI0/2/0
network-clock-select 2 BRI0/0/0
network-clock-select 3 BRI0/1/0
network-clock-select 4 BRI0/1/1
I get this error
Mar 12 06:41:34.731: %MARS_NETCLK-3-HOLDOVER: Entering Holdover for Controller BRI0/2/0
--More--
Mar 12 06:41:41.271: %MARS_NETCLK-3-HOLDOVER: Exiting Holdover for Controller BRI0/2/0
--More--
Mar 12 06:41:48.771: %MARS_NETCLK-3-HOLDOVER: Entering Holdover for Controller BRI0/2/0
what does it mean .
Can you please elaborate a bit on simplifying the translation rule.

Hi,
Have you solved your problem?
If yes, how do you solve it?
Best Regards,

The holdover messages reported above are normal when using BRI and network-clock-select. They do not indicate any problem at all.
