We have a call center and have several 1.800 numbers coming in, we were thinking of doing translation rules to come into an assigned CTI port on the CCM. This isn't working, can anyone see what's wrong or give me advice/links on a better way of doing this...
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /8666815954/ /10501/
voice translation-profile profile1
translate called 1
voice-port 0/0/1:23
translation-profile incoming profile1
We verified with debug that the 1866 number is coming in as that, when we dial 10501 within we get transferred to the CSQ/Script just fine. Any ideas?

Are you using MGCP or H323 o? If the latter, do you have an incoming and outgoing DP for 10501 ?

Using MGCP and the router is set to strip 5 digits, but that takes affect after right?
This is for incoming calls.

From what I understand, translations don't work when using MGCP, and all what you do, must be done on the CM.
