voice translation rule characters

Is there any way to use characters other than those that follow e.164 for voice translation rules? Specifically I would like to use the M character.

Re: voice translation rule characters

There is no way. Although sometime non-standard formatting like ()- is seen in numbers, Cisco doesn't support that.

Re: voice translation rule characters

If you're using SIP this is possible. You can do some SIP header modification that will translate almost anything in the SIP header. So, if you change your GW configuration over to SIP, you will be able to do outbound header translation (not inbound).

Thought this might help.
