Re: we need help to configuring Cisco 1861

Hi Vikrant,

Start by reading here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_tech_note09186a00800946ba.shtml

Here are some examples and tips for GRE:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk827/tk369/tk287/tsd_technology_support_sub-protocol_home.html

And here for DMVPN (probably interesting for you if you'll have multiple branch offices connecting to a same hub?)

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_configuration_example09186a008019d6f7.shtml

So first you'll need to decide what type of VPN exactly it is you want, and then compare with the capabilities of your router.

Cheers,

Cedric
