Webdialer with extension mobility user problem

Hi all,

I have cucm 7.1.3 with everything working right.

User A has extension mobility with DN 20000.

User B has 10001 assiciated to a device 7941.

When User B tries to join  User A through webdialer in CCMuser, no problem.

When User A tries to join User B through webdialer in CCMuser, the pop up appears with the option "user mobility profile" selected, but when I click "Dial", nothing appears.

All my phones, users, udp are OK, loggued etc...

Is this a known bug on 7.1.3 ? I did not find anything in the case TAC Collection...

HI Thomas,


there was a reported problem for the same issue in the older CUCM versions and now its fixed in the new releases 7.X and higher.


This main cause of this problem is the EM is sending the device name to the webdialer service as Extensio mobility Device (This is one of the most coommon causes) and WDSysUser/WDSecureSysUser contains '&' in the password.


two things you can check:

1) "Validate IP Address" field in service parameter of Extension Mobilit, this value should be False.

2)  in the EM configuration "Allow Control of Device from CTI" is checked.
