Weird Issue

So I am having a weird issue dealing with a call handelr in Unity.

The basic setup is an h.323 VGW setup at a remote site that uses a Call Handler at our HQ to route calls to either the Small Call Center we have or the site itself.

Probelm we are having is that when someone calls and presses a number to be redirected, the call handler sometimes states that the number is not recongized. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I really don't even know where to start with this?

Could it be issues with the connection between the VGW and Unity?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Seems like the dtmf relay from router

Can you post the router config and state what the dial peer and DNs are for the Unity call hadler path.

thanks for the response and sorry for the delay.

I have attached the enitre config for the gateway and also a the output of the voip ccapi inout debug.

The call is matching the incoming DP 101 and outgoing DP 1001

The DN is 6395

Being proactive, I looked further into the outgoing DP and made a change that got it to work for a few calls but stopped after a short period of time. i changed the DTMF -relay config on DP 1001 to this:

dial-peer voice 1001 voip

preference 1

destination-pattern [1-8]...$

progress_ind setup enable 3

modem passthrough nse codec g711ulaw

session target ipv4:10.122.1.201

voice-class codec 1

voice-class h323 2

dtmf-relay h245-signal h245-alphanumeric

fax rate disable

fax protocol pass-through g711ulaw

ip qos dscp cs5 media

ip qos dscp cs3 signaling

no vad

Any feedback on this would be helpful.

Another thing I wanted to point out is some differences in the outputs of the debug I am seeing between a working site and this site....The hex code sent seems to be shorter in this site than a working site, would this be any indication?

This site:

I have a pretty similar issue. When we press an option on call handler we hear "wait while we transfer your call", and then do nothing, after 18-20 seconds the message restart. It is also an intermittent issue...I though would be DTMF, but I was able to check and validate that is not related to the DTMF using Remote Port Status Monitor...sometime it goes directly to the voice mail without ringing...it is definitely a very weird issue. Any help on this is much appreciate. In my case I have a voice GW H.323 with CM and CUC 8.6.2. Thanks!
