Waht happen when I buy a ip phone with firmware 9.0(3) scc and connect this phone in a call manager that not have this firmware available?
1) the phone will downgrade to the firmware available in the cucm?
2) the phone will retain this version 9.0(3)? if yes, will not have any compatibility issue with the cucm?
3) the phone not downgrade the firmware but will have some feature not work?
4) the phone not downgrade but could hit some bugs that version of the cucm are available?

The phone will load any of these once you configure it in CUCM:
a) FW configured at device level undel load ID
b) FW listed under device defaults
In that order of precedence.
